Templates
Copy-paste starters for PULSE: add it to Claude Code, Cursor or Codex, check options in any domain, audit promotions, compare prices, rank a storefront.
Each template is a runnable file in the open-source Open Pulse
repository. Copy it, set PULSE_API_KEY, run it. The request shapes match the API exactly, and the
expected output in each file was produced by PULSE's own decision code on the same input.
| Template | What it does | For |
|---|---|---|
| Add PULSE to your AI agent | The MCP server in Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor or Codex, and how an agent should answer from its verdicts | AI agents |
| Check options against requirements | Suppliers and hotels: fits, fails or cannot tell, with what is missing. Any domain | Any developer |
| Recommend products from evidence | A shopper's laptop request, with facts read from titles and descriptions | Commerce |
| Audit your promotions | Which offers paid for themselves after returns and failed deliveries | Commerce |
| Compare real prices | What a shopper pays on each marketplace after vouchers and shipping | Commerce |
| Rank a storefront | The SDK from the CDN, no build step: session, signals, ranking, exposure | Storefronts |
The fastest one
For an agent, one command:
claude mcp add pulse -- npx -y @thepulseapi/mcpFor code, one request:
curl -X POST "https://api.thepulseapi.com/api/v1/decide" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" -H "x-api-key: pk_live_..." \
-d '{ "requirements": [{ "attribute": "ip_rating", "op": "eq", "value": "IP67" }],
"products": [{ "id": "acme", "attributes": { "ip_rating": "IP67" } }, { "id": "corvid", "attributes": {} }] }'acme fits; corvid comes back cannot_tell, missing ip_rating. See Decide for an agent.
