Decision Monitor
PULSE Decision Monitor compares each new catalogue export with the last and tells you which shelf slipped and why, before shoppers notice. Recurring, from one API call.
Catalogues decay. A supplier changes a feed, a new range arrives without its sizes, a bulk edit blanks a column. Nobody notices until sales on that shelf drop. Decision Monitor compares each export with the previous one and reports what slipped, on which shelf, in decision terms.
Who it is for: teams who have done the repair work once and want to know it stays done.
What you get back
- Products added and removed since the last export.
- Every attribute that regressed, with the share of products a shopper could decide on before and after.
- Buying requirements the catalogue newly cannot answer, so you know which shelf to look at.
- Nothing claimed, nothing graded: a monitor reports change, it does not judge anyone's work.
The call
The monitor is POST /catalog/verify without repairs.
There is no second endpoint, because a monitor and a verification are the same computation; the
only difference is whether anything was claimed.
curl -X POST "https://api.thepulseapi.com/api/v1/catalog/verify" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "x-api-key: pk_live_..." \
-d '{
"before": "<last week'"'"'s export>",
"after": "<this week'"'"'s export>",
"organizationId": "org_abc123",
"category": "Helmets"
}'Run it on a schedule from your side, for example a weekly job after the supplier feed lands, and
keep organizationId set so each result is stored.
Counts toward usage: yes, one request per comparison.
Decision Verification
PULSE Decision Verification re-measures your catalogue after a repair and grades every claimed fix against what actually changed. Proof without waiting for traffic.
Return Verification
PULSE Return Verification shows which missing product facts go with your returns, whether a repair moved them, and what that was worth at your own costs. Report order outcomes with one free API call.
